Founded in 2009, Amling Investments is a Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in wealth management and financial planning. Our clients include individuals, families and small businesses throughout the country.  We currently serve more than 100 clients with more than $35 million under management.

We work one-on-one with each client, tailoring our portfolio of services to your unique needs. In-person meetings are held at times and locations convenient to you, and all phone calls are answered by your knowledgeable Personal Wealth Advisor – not an outsourced 1-800 call center. Peter C. Amling, CFP®

Founder

Peter Amling has been running Amling Investments for a decade and has extensive experience in professional money management and in financial planning.  He began his career at Ridge Investment Advisors, a small-scale wealth management firm in Chicago.  With increasing responsibility at the firm, and from bull markets to bear markets, Mr. Amling learned how to serve clients by building strong and lasting relationships and how to deliver returns with reduced risk.  

In opening his own firm, Mr. Amling is committed to providing expert financial planning services to all clients – regardless of net worth.  Mr. Amling believes you don’t have to be a millionaire to receive the guidance of your own Personal Wealth Advisor, and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune either.  He holds himself and the firm to the highest standards of service, ethics, and always putting the client first. 

Mr. Amling is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.  He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and is Series 65 licensed.  He lives in Chicago.
